Overboard Surf Co. Returns Policy

We want you to love your Overboard Surf Co. product as much as we do. From delivery date you have 14 days to make sure you are fully stoked in the choice you have made.

REFUND POLICY

If you decide to send back your item within 14 days of delivery, you are more than welcome. 

Please note SALE items are not eligible for exchange or refund.

All you need to do is contact us at info@overboardsurf.com.au and let us know your order number (on your confirmation email), we will provide you with a Return Authorisation Number and the address to send your item to.

Please note: “change of mind” refunds will be processed minus a fee of 2.6% of the total order (which is the payment gateway fee charged to Overboard), this fee does not include any shipping charges you may have paid, just the fee on the item purchased that is being returned as a refund.

All postage/courier costs on return are to be paid by the customer. 

All refunds will be minus any shipping charges originally paid by the customer.

Please note “used” products cannot be returned for change of mind. Used being: ridden, worn, waxed, grips applied, stickers put on, any dings or damage.

Clothing and accessory returns must be unworn or used and all tags and packaging attached.

Just a reminder, sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

We recommend using registered post or a trackable courier when returning an item, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us.

FAULTY RETURN

If you feel your product or item has a fault, please contact us at info@overboardsurf.com.au to discuss. 

We will need proof of purchase and some photos would be great to help the process. 

Items are to be sent back to Overboard at customer’s expense. 

Once we receive the item back to Overboard we will assess the item and customer will be notified of our decision within two days of us receiving the item back.

If your item is deemed faulty you will be fully refunded purchase and shipping cost within two days.

Please keep your receipt of postage (when you sent your item back to Overboard) as proof.

Please note: Sale surfboards have been placed on sale due to being older models within the store. This will mean that sale surfboards WILL have yellowing and marks due to customers touching them in the store. Feel free to call the store and we can send you photos and videos of the sale surfboard you would like to purchase to ensure you are happy.

 

EXCHANGE POLICY

If you are exchanging your product for another item, shipping costs will apply to send out the item you would like to exchange it for regardless of the dollar amount originally spent. 

If you are exchanging your product for another item, you will be required to cover the shipping cost on the new item being sent out. Irrespective of the dollar amount originally spent.

Payment of new item being sent will be required before new item is sent out.

If you require an exchange please contact us at info@overboardsurf.com.au with your original order number and we can let you know how much the postage of the new item will be for you.

Order Cancellations

If notified before goods have been dispatched, Overboard can accommodate order cancellations, however cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 2.6% of the total order (which is the payment gateway fee charged to Overboard)

If items have been shipped, Overboard reserves the right to refuse order cancellation or charge a cancellation fee should we be able to request the return of the package from our delivery service (which may incur a cost from our courier) plus the 2.6% Cancellation fee of the total order (this is the gateway fee our system charges Overboard to process your order)
